It is used with other antiviral medicines to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in adults and children 2 years of age and older. HIV is the virus that causes the AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome).

It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding. Before taking, tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems. Do not drive or operate any machinery while taking this medicine, it may make you feel dizzy. The common side effects are diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, dizziness, rash, feeling weak.

- Treat in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older

HOW TENVIR WORKS
TENVIR may help to increase the number of CD4 (T) cells in your blood which help fight off other infections. Reducing the amount of HIV and increasing CD4 (T) cell count may improve your immune system.
